Once upon a time, there was a brother called Lema, who was well known in the town due to his level of commitment among the youths of that community and towards the development of the town. More so, he was tall, handsome and hardworking brother. As a result of this, people always listened to him and he was highly respected in the community.
Brother Lema used to go to church on Sundays and do attended weekly activities. He was a religious brother, but not well rooted in the word of God. In a nutshell, he was a religious man.
At last, Brother Lema gained admission into tertiary institution. Getting to final year, he was thinking of how is marital life is going to be. One day, he was looking at the ladies passing by in the campus where he sat down. He was bittered in his heart to see how ladies were dressing and messing up their lives. Suddenly, he rose up and determined in his heart to marry a believer, knowing fully well that believers are decent and virtuous women, who other women in the society will like to emulate in every areas.
Brother Lema started working on it by searching for a serious Christian sister that will be fit to be his wife. He tried his possible best in his town but couldn’t find a sister that is up to his taste. He intensified his efforts by going to neighbouring towns in searching for a life partner, but all to no avail.
Question: Why did brother Lema was unable to get a serious Christian sister? It is just because he failed to take the right steps.
What are the right steps?
 He failed to build up himself, that is, he is not a devoted Christian brother while looking for a well grown Christian sister.
 He never knew that choosing a right partner needs prayer.
 He thought he can set standard for himself without allowing God’s will to prevail.
Are you not like Brother Lema my brothers and sisters? Marriage is a life time contract that shouldn’t be taken with levity hand. Only God can lead you right in choosing a life partner.
My question for our brothers and sisters today is this:
Is your life well rooted in Christ? You can take the right steps now and expect a greater tomorrow. (1 Peter 2:2)

My Creator, I come to You today with sincere heart for genuine repentance, help me to be rooted in Your word and to live right with You in Jesus Name. Amen.

ON MY WEDDING DAY

(A PRECIOUS STORY OF EVER BEST GIFT)

In the year 1990 the Manager of a company called “THE BUILDER” at the age of twenty seven (27) take his spouse to the Altar.
He was recorded to be the youngest Manager so far in the history of the company with the best performance. Mr. Steve (the Manager) with all his achievement with the company became famous, This fame went all over the forty three (43) countries where the company has branches. Due to his fame and love by the people and staff of "THE BUILDER", (the company) the founder compels him to hold his wedding in a stadium for better space capacity.
Here comes the better segment as recorded on the wedding day.
The wedding started at about 8:00am with dancing and welcoming of quests. Mr. Steve was finally joined to his beloved wife Clara.
NOW HERE COMES PRESENTATION OF GIFT
• Mr. STONE the founder and owner of “THE BUILDER” was the first to present his gift. He presented two gifts; one was a single key for a brand new BMW latest modern car. While the other was a bunch of keys for an apartment at Leki Lagos.
• “THE BUILDER” staffs gift; A bus was driven into the wedding arena and was packed in front of the couple and the key to the bus was handed over to the wife Clara, lo and behold the wife opened the bus it was filled up with kitchen utensils.
• THE FATHER’S GIFT
The father approaches his son with dancing and the whole stadium was calm seeing the father not holding any gift in his hand. Getting to the child he hugged him with a smile in his face. The father deep his hand into his pocket, lo and behold he brought out a COMPUTER FLASH DRIVE and presented it to the son as his gift. The whole people in the stadium echo with a loud voice haaaaaaa……………
The son’s countenance changed immediately, and he ordered his PA to get a laptop for him.
HERE WAS THE CONTENT OF THE FLASH DRIVE AS THE SON READ ALOUD WHILE GIVING HIS VOTE OF THANKS.
It was a 32 gig flash drive
Only one File was inside it.
The son opened and read as quoted by the Father.
“” My son I am happy to see you becoming a real man, Congratulation. I am giving you this gift so that it never go out of your memory, as you remember your wedding day”.
1. A real man will never do anything without his wife. They both agree together, so agree with your wife in everything.
2. A real man will make his wife his financial secretary. This will bring everlasting peace in your home as your wife will fully trust you and defend you.
3. Note that your wife comes from a different family background so do not just expect perfection, it comes with time. Always try to tolerate and correct her with love.
4. Always appreciate her effort and learn to praise her.
5. Make God the head of your home, so always submit your personal will to God and allow him to help you head the home.
Finally, I and your mother has transferred some amount of money to your wife account use that for your honey moon. But KJ ART, the best artist in town presented the hard copy of this gift to you rapped, check other gift presented carefully you will see it; place it in your room to keep the memory alive. YOUR HOME DEPENDS ON YOU

(Linda's great submission)

Mr. Anderson came from work informing his loving wife (Linda) that he received a message for reunion from school. Yes! shouted Linda as she jumped up being filled with joy, "I missed you, its really been a long time" said Linda, talking with imagination as if she was already at the reunion. Hmmm "okay oo". said the husband as he went into the bedroom. Mrs. Anderson(Linda) was very happy that she will be attending this year’s Alumni reunion as she has missed her school friends especially "IFE" her roommate.
The day finally came and they travelled for the reunion. The environment was very inviting because people had to travel from afar to attend the reunion. Also some came with their children, it was a welcoming atmosphere. Linda and her husband was given the programme booklet and were directed to have their seat. Linda went around but couldn't see "IFE". The programme started and *IFE* was not still around. Linda put on a swollen face and was not happy for not seeing her friend. "It's time to share in our experience" said the moderator. After two people had shared thier experiences. Mrs. Anderson was called out for hers, she said no for now. Yes! its her turn as a voice came from behind, turning to see who was that, it was IFE Linda's roommate. Linda was very happy and ran to grab the microphone.
After the programme Linda and Ife meet with each other, exchange pleasantries asking after their well-being, their marriage and how they lost contact after they left school. They exchange phone numbers. Shortly after, Linda's husband (Mr. Anderson) came to call his wife with a stern look.
Linda understood what he meant and left IFE her roommate alone, IFE was very surprised at the reaction and decided to call her friend later on phone to know what is going on.
Months later after the reunion, IFE called Linda on her mobile phone to know how she and her husband is doing and why she left her at the reunion without saying good bye. Linda explained to IFE that ever since she married her husband due to how he so much adore her beauty he doesn’t want her getting too long with people, that he believed it will keep her safe from other men admiring her beauty, Ife was so touched because she knew Linda was very beautiful, jovial and accommodating. Ife encouraged her, prayed with her and told her to obey her husband if that is what he want.
One afternoon, IFE decided to pay Linda a visit at home since her husband doesn’t allow her to stay that long outside. On getting there, Linda's husband had travelled and was meant to come back the next day, but because he had finished the project he went for on time, he decided to give his wife a surprise by not telling her of his coming back that day.
As Linda was seeing IFE off, she covered the whole of her body, putting on sun shade. IFE was astonished and asked her why are you dressed this way?
Linda answered: I want to please my husband, although he never asked me to dress this way but I think this is a solution for people not putting too much eyes on my beauty.
IFE: Wow! you are really a wife material that is why your husband made those laws. Not knowing that her husband was already closed to the house, she saw Ife off and came back all wrapped up. When the husband saw her his heart melted, he ran to her, hugged her and said "so you can go this length just to please me". Immediately they get into the room he embraced her and apologised to her, he removed the veil and told her "you have shown to me that really you are trust worthy, please don't dress that way again, I am sorry for not trusting you that much, thank God for giving me a glorious wife. once again I am very sorry"

MARRIED BUT SEPARATED

(The Best Wedding in the History of Alakaje Town)

The home of Mr. & Mrs. Godwin started with the best wedding ever recorded in the city of ALEKAJE in the year 2000. What a wonderful wedding.
After their wedding they both enjoyed their Honey Moon in one of the best lodge in the capital city of Ghana. Mr. & Mrs. Godwin Work with one of the top companies in the city of ALEKAJE.
A MONTH AFTER THEIR WEDDING.
While they both sat in their living room watching film, the husband received a message on his Phone.
The wife asked; “what message is that“?
The husband reply; “”is MTN” They always disturb with their useless messages”.
The wife asked; “Can I see the message”?
The husband reply; “Never mind it is of no use to you”.
The husband known it was Shade his ex-girlfriend writing a romantic message to him.
Two days later while they were both in the bed room.
Mrs. Godwin received bank alert on her phone,
The husband asked; “What message is that”?
The wife reply; “It is a friend of mine wishing us happy married life”.
Holding the phone in her hand she read the bank alert message as if it was truly her friend, the husband smile as she read the message and he looked happy.
An hour later the wife deleted the message.
One day Mr. Godwin came home very tired from work.
The wife served him food; he took his bath and went to bed.
Two hours later the secretary knocked on their gate, she delivered the husband’s phone to the wife telling her that the boss forgot it in the office”. She further said; thank God it rang I wouldn’t have know he forgot his phone in the office, please kindly deliver it to him. As the wife collected the phone she saw three missed call with the name Shade as the caller.
Some minutes letter a message came into the husband’s phone, the same Shade.
Message content
“I received your message, yes I know you are now married but as for me that is not a problem, we can still continue the relationship, why not meet me at Cool spot Hotel tomorrow.
The wife shouted with a loud voice and said,
So this man has been hiding things for me.
Going through the husband’s phone inbox she didn't see any MTN messages but Shade.
As she decided going to meet the husband in the bedroom.
A word dropped in her heart "have you been faithful either"
Immediately, she began to weep and as the husband heard her, he ran to the living room.
She fell on her kneels begging the husband to forgive her, she confessed all her wrong doing (SIN), the husband embraced the wife. Telling her he is sorry too, they both open up to each other.
What a moment of joy.
